The Gift of Time
Time is our most precious gift. All of us have some, but most never find enough in the day. With your gift of time, you can provide a service that charities like Lifeline need to continue and grow. All our programs at Lifeline need someone who can offer time.
Time spent with Lifeline is rewarding. There are a wide variety of areas in which volunteers can help, from food preparation, internet support, teaching life skills and offering your talented skills to aid in one of the many Lifeline projects (carpentry, electrical, painting, cleaning, gardening, etc.).
A Volunteer Information session which covers Lifeline’s purpose, goals, policies, and procedures can be arranged or on the job training will be provided.
Groups
There are many ways groups can get involved in the ongoing activities such as food or clothing drives, fundraising challenges and much more. Many groups have joined Lifeline in the feeding programs we run and have experienced positive and satisfying adventures as they have assisted in this ministry. For non-local groups, Lifeline can help you organize a missions trip to our Lower Mainland Outreach. If your school, church, community or business would like more information on how to set up volunteering with Lifeline, please contact David Poulette at 604.728.7551 or email us at lifeline@uniserve.com.
