Valentina began volunteering with Blue Bus Ministries in 2022 and joined the board in 2025, though her connection to David and Janice goes all the way back to 2010. Having admired their courageous leadership for many years, she is grateful to now walk alongside them and support their mission.
Being an immigrant herself, she understands firsthand the struggles, the limitations and the importance of community support to those that are less fortunate. For over 20 years, she has been a dedicated friend and advocate for newcomers, helping them settle into Canadian society by teaching English and connecting them with essential resources. Joining Blue Bus Ministries was a natural fit for her heart to serve those in need and ensure people are valued, no matter where life finds them.
With a background in education and community outreach, Valentina is committed to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and treated with dignity.
Currently she enjoys being a teacher, an artist, and most importantly a mother to three amazing sons. She loves going on adventures with her family and investing in spiritual growth.
